Hiking: Our hiking trails are a great way to connect with nature, as you interconnect with this great community, as well. With more than 20 individual trails for hiking, biking, or walking ¬– ranging from relaxing to extreme – you and the kids can unplug and find a new path to family fun.
Streams: During the warm afternoons, introduce your kids to the forgotten concept of a real swimming hole at the one-mile trail that will lead to the Blue Hole, a natural waterfall pool along Laurel Creek that reaches depths of nearly 20 feet. With over 60 miles of mountain streams on the property, there are many peaceful places to dip a toe, or cast a fly, in the fresh, flowing water.
Fly fishing: Western Carolina is one of the greatest locations in the United States with regards to fly fishing. Smallmouth bass and trout are plentiful within this region. There are a number of rivers and streams for anglers to navigate on their own or via a guided tour.
Mountain Biking: The geography and area scenery here make the trailheads of Reynolds Blue Ridge truly a unique experience. A number of trails varying in length and difficulty are available for bikers of any age to enjoy. Outside of Reynolds, bike enthusiasts have a wide range of options as well with over 15 noteworthy trails to explore throughout the nearby national, state or city parks.
Overnight Excursions: For a true adventure, we will offer campgrounds where your tent will be set up and all your gear will be waiting for you upon arrival. All the fun of camping with none of the work.
Star Gazing: Like our sister property on Lake Oconee, Reynolds Plantation, Reynolds Blue Ridge will be dedicated to minimizing light pollution, which will help keep the sky dark and the stars bright. Observation Decks will offer an inviting setting for you to explore the stars and planets.
