The Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina offer four distinct seasons with a mild edge. The winters aren't so cold; the summers not too hot. Spring offers an artistic vision of flowers on the hillside and dogwoods in bloom. Autumn at Reynolds Blue Ridge is a little slice of heaven.
The change in elevation at Reynolds Blue Ridge is dramatic – the entrance near the Blue Ridge Parkway is roughly 4,000 feet above sea level, while the back entrance (9 miles down Reynolds Parkway, through the center of the community) near the Elk River sits at just 1,300 feet above sea level. This creates separate “micro-climates” – and creates opportunities for cool summers and temperate winters.
